Apple Announces New Apple Watch Straps, Drop In Starting Price At 'Let Us Loop You In' Event

Today in Cupertino, Apple CEO Tim Cook declared a couple of updates to the Apple Watch, including an assortment of new ties, and, maybe most curiously, a drop in the beginning cost for the Apple Watch Sport. The declaration did exclude another gadget, which is generally guessed to be in the pipeline for later this year.

The new groups, which will join the current Sport Band, Leather, and Milanese and Link hardened steel choices, incorporate new forms of the Sport and Leather groups, a Space Black variant of the Milanese Loop (see above), and a shiny new line of woven nylon groups accessible in seven tones (below).

Additionally, Cook reported that the Apple Watch will presently begin at $299 – down from the current $349. Is this basically a move pointed toward putting the Apple Watch on more wrists, or a sign that another gadget is going our way soon? We will need to stand by and see.
