Happenings: The Horological Society Of New York Heads West With Traveling Education Classes In Seattle And Silicon Valley

Horological Education classes will be offered in Seattle over the course of the few days of February 25 at the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center . The one weekend from now, that of March 4, HSNY will go to Silicon Valley, where it will hold classes at Rosewood Sand Hill in Redwood City, California. The Silicon Valley classes are facilitated by Stephen Silver .

At HSNY’s honor winning classes, understudies find what really matters to a watch. The involved course is instructed by HSNY’s staff of expert watchmakers. Understudies work on a mechanical watch development, contemplating the stuff train, winding and setting systems, and escapement. This four-hour course covers everything instructed during the four individual courses typically held in New York City.
