Introducing: The A. Lange & Söhne Grand Lange One Moonphase Lumen
The last Lange to get the “Lumen” treatment was at SIHH 2013 and that was a comparative watch, the ordinary Grand Lange 1 . Lange has taken this base model and given a similar look to the somewhat more costly and recondite Grande Lange 1 Moonphase , with the moonphase show being at the actual focal point of the activity here.
Different from Lange’s past moon-stage models with strong gold lunar plates, this watch has a circle made of glass. It is first covered, and afterward 1,164 stars and moon are laser cut into it. On account of the iridescent compound behind the lunar plate, the stars and moon sparkle when charged, giving the watch a madly cool look in the metal.l. Once appropriately set, the moonphase just should be adjusted by one day each 122.6 years.
The Grand Lange 1 Moonphase Lumen is a restricted release of 200 pieces, all in platinum and at 41mm in size. The cost is 69,000 euro and it will be accessible not long from now. More here .
